After thorough research and documentation of Paithani craft, a swatch ( the border ) of Lotus brocade Paithani was selected to carry out the further project and convert it from the oldest traditional, a bit modern traditional to existing contemporary and designed contemporary versions. A total of 20 hand-painted saree swatches were divided into 5 swatches each for the four stages mentioned.
